Movie Script Abbreviations

Post by copydog »

Does anyone have a list of abbreviations that are used in movie scripts? (Example: CU - closeup)

And, is there any site that can explain how to make a pro-looking script?

Thanks!

To get a good looking script, download somthing like Final Draft, well the demo of final Draft.

As for abbrevs, well there is CU. but most of them are just phrases and not a few letters, well the ones I know.
Cut to: Fade to: are your trasistions,
INT is inside, EXT outside, (easyer to spell)

There is a thred on formatting in the tutoral section of this forum.

VO Voice over
OS Off Screan
OC Off Cam

If I think of some more I'll add them.
