DVD Playback Question

Do DVD's play back at 24 FPS, or 30 FPS? If 24 FPS, how does it play back on a T.V.?

I thought every one of these. When it's filmed by 24 FPS it plays back in 24 FPS, and so on.

yes. the frame rate of film is 24, the rate of video is 29.97 dropframe. I'm not sure though on conversion though, like once film is transferred to a digital format it might be changed to 29.97
