This is the thred for posting your ideas, for each part of the movie. This is where they will be talked about. Just to keep a form of order to the whole thing. If you have any questions refer back to the long post that was posted a few days ago.

so this is strictly a zombie members film forum?

This thred is for ideas and getting your shorts approved, but other people can come in and give their opinions, on what other people have posted.

An idea that would be cool, was like you said " webcams, personal camears, ect. " but we can only repeat that so many times. I was thinking it would be cool if we could have one area where it's in a public place so to speak, ( Of course somewhere you know you have premission to film ) , where there could be security cameras, and prehaps one of the kids takes over the control room, and the cameras keep going out in the beginning, but they "Fix" them. Then during one of the action sequences the cameras can fail again, and come mabye flicker to some of the action, and then just completly die, ending the segment with fuzz and screaming. just an idea, don't know if it's possible, but would be cool.

well blade, you should defently develup that idea, maybe write a script and will try and figure out a way to get it filmed.

Ok writting this as I read, so far, I like the title page and am so glad that you wrote this in proper script format.
So far I'm liking the diologe, good going back and forth.
The endding you know it was going to happon, but it still works, and I can write in how it still got on the web even after all the boys were killed.

-----Yeah, I know it was a typical ending. I wrote it this way because it is a little snipet thats going to be a piece in an entire fabric of a story, and I felt it important not to go over the top because I am hoping that your overall story will make up for it. Since, it's short it leaves very little for originality and I didn't want it to get over the top like I'm expecting many people stuff to become, on this site. I wanted it to be simple, and that was the first draft I just wanted to know if you approve of it thus far, and I will keep working on this and keep you up to date on it.
-----Also, of course, I feel this to be a serious project and I feel we should all take it seriously and do it properly so therefore the script itself should be no different. Thanks for reading it very promptly and please tell me anything else you would like to relay. I am really amped to be part of this project, I believe it to have a lot of potential.
-----So to get to the point, in my short, as you can very well see I want it to be slightly on the gory side w/ the guts and all. But I also want the dialogue to be very well constructed and the picture, while gritty and grainy, I want it to perfectly fit and look really good. Thank You, & Keep in touch.

Thanks for the quick responce, I wasn't complaning about the endding just stating a fact. Ok I have now uploaded the first few pages of the script, the part that I am working on with the commandos, and such, and the beging of the part with the televaglist. So far it really just intros the charators and sets up the story and what we are about to see. I also thought that an idea that may work is a recruitment type commercial. Something like what is in Starship Troopers or something. Someone might be able to work with that.

Alright. My basic idea...

A group of friends are out on a camping trip. at about dusk, one of them has to go into the forest to answer the call of nature. While he's gone, "Something Happens" to him, and he comes back the next morning as a zombie. The rest of his friends flee the area, only to find out uppon arriving back home that their town has been overrun by the undead. In their attempt to escape the city, they are overrun an eaten.

If it's a go, I can start the script as soon as tomorow, and I probably have almost everything I would need for this.

yes, this will be an exellent Movie...If anyone can make that happen Recon can...and im all for the idea!

was having thoughts for a log type style, a scientist type is trapped inside his lab and knows that something is not right so begins a kind of video diary, with each 'entry' his condition is deteriorating, either from the 'virus' that is bring up the undead or from general degredation due to lack of facilties (food, water etc) easy to do, can lend a bit of story to it and can be cut in a random points throught out the film? any thoughts?

was thinking of using excersise footage from my 2nd tx and ftx to do an emmbedded journalist gulf war 1 style, with grainy satellite delivered footage as the army (British) tries to fight the infestation

same here, Belize is great for the Army look.

The problem that I always saw coming up with the ideas was that to many of them felt like little movies, and not just what people would have captured with their home cammeras. Granted this is one onf the many movies that I came up which while sitting in my Mass Com classes talking about the internet and such. But I like the ideas that people have come up with so far.
