War Sounds
I've been hearing alot about people getting music and sound effects from medal of honor, saving private ryan, and Band of brothers. What do you do to get them sounds. Cos I need good war sound effects. Please can you lot help?
RE: War Sounds
If you have MOH there's a folder with sound effects. For Saving Private Ryan sound effects or BOB ones, just record them with a program like Wiretap.

A bunch of the members posted sounds from Saving Private Ryan AND Band of Brothers! Just do a search in the forum.

www.sounddogs.com I think, has some war sounds. There's also Google to search on. Medal of Honor is pretty cheap now too.

Hey, if you are going to steal Medal Of Honor songs anyway, instead of complaining and moaning of the price just download the demo. Same thing.

Your planning on making a war movie and you don't have SPR or BoB?!
Anyways, here are some sounds I recorded, their not that good, some you can still hear some ambient noises (30 cal right and left is the most noticable).
Also they are still in stereo (should be in surround too, haven't checked), so most of them are marked with which side the sound is on.
There are not alot of sounds for all the guns in the movie, I only recorded the ones I needed for a previous project, but I'm planning to record more.
And there are just random firefight stuff in there as well.
Enjoy!
