Movies, mandane to spectacular

what separates a spectacular movie from mandane ? I've been thinking about this one a lot. i.e. if you have a great idea and you give it to 30 people, you'll get 30 different movies. One of them will be so so, and one of them will be a work of art reaching and touching you at the very core of your being.

What is the difference between the two movies ?

EDIT: yep, sorry guys, I removed the movies. They are not mine, and one of the movies played at a film festival. So I didn't want to keep them on my site for long. If you are interested though, PM or contact me, and I'll give you the link.

Ok I agree with the second one, I turned up the speakers and It gave me a shock!

*I cant think of any director directly, but I have no sense for style unless I see the two films next to each other. They did however remind me of the Trailer style of film

*In the second one, the music was very immpressive, and that is what i believe....

*Makes a spectacular movie, the vision and music, wheter its one man aloe rying or the entire armies of a roman slave revolt, If the music doesnt tie in with the film it ceases to be spectacular

overall they both freaked me out, well filmed and edited, however made it should get a good pat on the back

* i don't recognise the style either, maybe thats the point and its original
