FX HELP: Shot out of Season

Post by LocoArts »

I am sorta new to all this DV FX thing and I was wondering if there is a FX Program(s) that can change green spring leaves into fall leaves?

we shot a film and a section of it would be allot better if it was in fall.

Is there a program that can change that leaves different colors? The camera of course is moving.. so is there a program(s) that can track and keep the leaves orange?

Links/Info please

Advice

Thank You

It's called color correction and is found in basically any high end video editing program, such as premiere and Final Cut.

so I can only chose the leaves and "correct" them... but the rest of the scene, grass, the blue sky, etc can be exactly how we shot it?

where is this section of Premiere? I never noticed it

Also, If I wanted to add old dry fall leaves to the ground, how can I do that??

Thanks dude

I'm sorry, I forget where it is in Premiere but I know it's there. Somewhere in the box with the three tabs in the bottom right.

Just have leaves falling and correct those ones.

it might be easier and less harmfull to the environement to make the falling dry leaves cg... and to choose only the leaves, even thought they are moving, perhaps you can do that using motion tracking... at the worst, use rotoscoping.
