the effects were not bad, not as bad as i might have expected. The best one was by far the "yeti's" perspective with the red tint and what looked like warp + motion blur. good job

Why is Putfile so hit or miss. Sometimes it works fine, other time it just sits there like a lame mule.

I did like the yetis fps, but i think it would be better if you didn't show the audience the actual yeti until the last moment.

Putfile never works for me, it just keeps buffering, with the the percentage going up and down and never reaching 100%. :(

I liked the Yeti POV one, and the first one for the most part. I think everything would be better if you utilized the "less is more" philosophy, though. Think of the first "Jaws" movie. You barely saw the shark during the entire movie, which ended up making it more effective.

Maybe for the yeti one, instead of showing the digital guts and blood, replace it with a shot of blood splattering a tree or the ground underneath the victim. It's easy to make fake blood, and it looks better than digital (unless you're a wizard with digital effects).

Just my $0.02.

The first one I laughed at first, I thought it was someone peeing in the water and he was afraid of it. But it looked good. The body came out alittle too digital. The blood's movement was kinda bad too (Reminded me of the first Resident Evil game).

The second one I have to agree don't show the bigfoot, or whatever! The blood and guts was a nice try but didn't look convincing. The bigfoot's POV looked really cool coupled with the sounds.

The muzzle flash you might want to thin the edges much more, feather them too, and make it a bit more transparent. Also, if you can see black from the trails, then don't use the trails! Also that muzzle flash looked a bit bad.

Try these:

yay, it finally worked. except it was still slow and twitchy. i'd recomend http://video.google.com
it doesn't screw up as much as putfile does.

I liked the second one how it showed the bigfoot's view, it reminded me of Predator. except the guts and ribs looked really cr**.

the third one looked pretty good, but i agree with the others, the muzzle flash was not that great, it was way too big and colourful.
but i liked the effect of the camera following the bullet.
