Yo, anyone know how to make eletrical matches?
I couldnt find camclubs electrical detonator page. if may have been deleted. DO you still have that info camclub?

you could also just buy real detonators... they are as cheap as .5€/piece :)

Oh, i went to my local store and they were 3 bucks. I wasnt going to spend 12 bucks on every take of every scene.

Rehearse, rehearse then get it right! THEN you can spend $12 a take per scene.

For the effects to look good and not be CGI, IO'd have to spend over 400 i estimate on electric matches. I got the firecrackers already.

Using a setup similar to the model rocket ignitors, use a short (one centimeter or less) piece of fine steel wool in the place of the e-match. If it isn't igniting the firecrackers get some fire paste (a campfire starting aid that comes in toothpaste tubes) squeezed onto the wire.
